New comp, what to copy?

First, I have no knowledge of computers beyond turning them on, double clicking, etc.

I have picked up a new system and would like to know what files to copy to move my custom ship designs to my new system. Please be as specific as possible. Everything is installed in the default folders that GC picked.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If you've already got the game itself installed, ship designs are easy. Just go to My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\ships and My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\Metaverse\ships and copy all the files there to the same place on the new machine.

Note that those folders won't exist on the new computer unless you've already run the game there once (the game creates them when it runs if they don't exist). So if they aren't there, just start the game then quit right away to create them.
