Who Can Pull Me Away From RoyaleVistaWB By d0b33?

I try not to use any Royale style skins because I find it defeats the point of using Windowblinds in the first place. I installed it so I could make my Windows not look like Windows. I'm using Acrylic right now, Delta is another good one (all from the GUIChamps).

Same here.... I see no point to having WB if I'm gonna just have variants on Windows styles. Right now I'm using DMN Tweak by Jay...has been a favourite that I keep going back to since d/ling it about a year ago....guess it's the sleek dark look that's a total departure from the Luna (Fisher Price) look.

Acrylic its very good actually, but its very close to RV and i think that RV takes the edge a little. Only reasons for this are:

*The hidden content arrow on the bottom right looks a little ridged.

*The start menu dosent look as profesional as RV and neither does the start button.

Everything else is nearly the same, But i'm lookin for somthing maybe a bit different to RV.

Since I don't use Styler Toolbar, RV due to default MS toolbar icons would be way down my list of better made skins.
The author including Styler is fine but the toolbar icons that WB will skin should have been done also, so as it is it to me is an incomplete skin.

What do you mean "a bit different?" I could recommend a ton of themes (actually I made a section of my blog for that).

Also just checked as I was not sure, default MS progress animations.
Although I am not a big fan of Vista skins, the one I do use the most is Vista Plus V2 by adni18.

Also bitmap window frames not png/tga alpha blended for WB5, the rounded corners are jagged, but hey whatever you like and works for you is good.

Yes the system tray arrow to show hidden icons on RV is very ridged compared to Acrylic.

Rv does have a better looking start menu but the strat button of Acrylic wins hands down.

The preview for RoyaleVista isn't showing up for me. The one screenshot I found in the gallery for "royale vista" wasn't that appealing to me at all.

I still use Antares .....3 years or so must mean it's half OK...

Antares is my main fallback skin
