If You Liked The Mark Foley Scandal, You're Gonna Love This!

another right wing hypocrite..

Rev. Ted Haggard got to speak to the President on a weekly basis, via conference call. Rev. Ted Haggard lead the most powerful evangelical movement in this nation, and the world. The chairman of the National Association of Evangelicals was a group that included every preacher involved in the evangelical movement with any following.

The Rev. Ted Haggard was a false prophet. That is, according to the doctrine that all christians believe. Paul warned of false prophets in 2 Corinthians 11:13, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.” And the Reverand Ted Haggard was certainly doing that. The church should celebrate the "outing" of a wolf in sheep's clothing. I am not an evangelical christian, but I do have respect for anyone who has a deep faith in anything. that might not always be so apparant when debating, but deep down, ya gotta admire anyone who sincerely devotes their life to good.

The recent Amish tragedy was a great example of that. It happened about an hour north of where I live, and thru my travels I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of great Amish people. But that tragic day helped me realize just how devout they were. And I , like many were blown away by the gestures of forgiveness and kindness. Indeed, it was a lesson for us all in real christianity. I'm not ready to dress in goofy clothes, stop shavin and start churnin butter, but I can't say they didn't make me want to be a better person, like them.

I hope the evangelicals will make us all equally as proud. They have outed a false prophet. that prophet has preached a deceitful and hateful doctrine. They have used politics and religion to promote a false doctrine. Now maybe they can see that George Bush is not the prophet they think he is. The Book by David Kuo, "Tempting Faith" was a peek inside how the right wing of the republican party has used people's beliefs and faith to promote their reckless, neoconservative agenda.

I am not saying evangelical christians shouldn't vote on Tuesday. That decision is up to them. But maybe they will rethink putting that guy back in office who has been preaching about how much he supports people like george Bush and the Rev. Ted Haggard's agenda. Along with all the preachers and politicians down the line who got their marching orders, directly or indirectly, from those leaders and their ilk. Maybe this will help people realize that God and politics don't mix.

In case you have lived under a rock for the last few days, the story is that the now former head of the National Association of Evangelicals was outed for having a 3 year pay as you go sexual relationship with a male prostitute. The Rev. Ted Haggard also was buying crystal methamphetimine to "enhance " the experience of gay sex.

At first. the false prophet lied about even knowing Mike Jones, the gay prostitute who came forward about the encounters. Only 1 day later, he reversed his story. Admitting to knowing his paid gay lover and buying meth. He claimed that he only met him once, which appears to be another lie. And he claims he only got a massage. He claims a hotel worker reffered him to Mr Jones. Unfortunately, Mr Jones only advertises in gay publications and websites and doesn't advertise as a masseuse.

And Bill Clinton didn't inhale, right?

Ok, so he is a hypocrite and isn't worthy to lead the biggest evangelical organization around.  However, his actions have also revealed the total hypocrisy and lies of the left.  After all, what did he do?  He stands accused of having sex with a male prostitute and doing drugs.  If he was a movie star or musician, the left would be screaming "discrimination" at anyone who dared make an issue of it.

The Gay Rights movement is especially exposed here.  The lesson we learn from this is, it is only ok to be gay if you are Liberal and gay.

So Ted Haggard is against gay marriage and other political issues that so-called "Gay Rights" groups champion.  Whoopie!  So he was "in the closet"  OH NO!

Apparently, to the so-called "Gay Rights" movement, a gay man has to live and think as they do, or they have no rights at all.  The lie has long been, "what two people do in the privacy of the bedroom is their own business".  I guess that only applies to Liberal Gay people.

"Gay Righys" advocates in Washington have threatened to "out" Republicans who are gay.  Why aren't they also targeting Gay Democrats who have chosen to keep their sexual orientation to themselves?

I'm not defending Ted Haggard in the least.  What he did ws dead wrong, both morally and legally. However, he did nothing that the left hasn't defended in others.

I also think it's hilarious that the left is making a hero out of the male prostitute who "outted" Haggard.  What did the prostitute do that Haggard didn't?  He is liberal.

So, in reality, the ONLY thing that Haggard did that the so-called "Gay Rights" movement detests?  He didn't think the way they insist a Gay person must think.

The words "rights" and "equality" drip out as rancid lies from the lips of the left once again.

In other words, exposing the hypocrisy and lies of one man, laid bare the hypocrisy and lies of the entire "Gay Rights" agenda.

Update...

Yesterday, in a statement read by someone else, The Rev. Ted Haggard confessed to "sexual immorality" to his mislead flock. but it seems honesty is still not on the false prophet's agenda.

"The fact is I am guilty of sexual immorality. And I take responsibility for the entire problem," Haggard wrote. "I am a deceiver and a liar. There's a part of my life that is so repulsive and dark that I have been warring against it for all of my adult life."

but Haggard still claims the charges aren't true...

Haggard said "the accusations that have been leveled against me are not all true, but enough of them are true that I have been appropriately and lovingly removed from the ministry."

Haggard's previous claims were that he just got a massage from Mike Jones, the gay prostitute who outed him as a hypocrite.

so, the part of his life that "is repulsive" and he had been "warring with his entire adult life" is his need for theraputic massage?

those bridges are sellin fast....
