Large icons on taskbar

I have WB5 and I use different vista skins (aero clarity, vista xp, etc) but sometimes when I start up my PC, the icons on the taskbar appear large and distorted and the clock has gone onto two lines. I can sometimes correct this by applying the default XP skin (which seems to reset the icons to normal size) and then re-applying the vista skin.

Is there a known reason why it does this or is there a setting I should change?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

Mike,

Yeah, I have the same problem. It's intermittent though, I can never tell when it's going to happen or what might have happened to cause it. I've had WindowBlinds for about a year and now even have Object Desktop and all the latest files (including a WindowBlinds update on 11-15-2006) through Stardock Central, and it still happens. You can always unload WindowBlinds and re-apply the skin and that seems to work. The worst part about when it loads with the big icons though, is that at least for me, the spaces between lines isn't correct either - for example, when I go to the Start Menu, I can see that my shortcuts have more space vertically between them. It's almost like the skin is loading at the wrong resolution or something.

One question for you and anyone else out there with the same problem - I'm running ATI Radeon 256MB XT Platinum video card, any of you with this problem have an ATI card?

Thanks,

Lemon
