Hi, Does Having Themes, skins. etc...

Hi, i'm new. I wondering if these skins, etc... slow down your computer? make your memory low? Just needed to know a few things before i buy. thanks

Not normally, but you can occasionally run across a poorly made skin or DX theme, etc., that will bog things down.

That depends on how much memory you have to start with, and what you consider low.
Again, normally no, but some themes use more memory than others.

Of the programs I have running and using memory, CursorXP is 1712k, IconX is 12828k, and for non-Stardock apps Rainlendar is 6008k and Sysmetrix 13624k. I know I have 2Gb of memory, but it's still hardly a flea bite   

No slow downs at all, other than a badly made skin I once tried, but that was soon removed

ok, thank you both. Testing it out and i love what i see. and gonna buy.. never knew this was even possible.....

Can you also change different apps, theme. cause i have this one that will not change like the others actually 3... yahoo, and powertab and 1 more...

some apps don't like being skinned - yahoo seems to be one

you either have to exclude from skinning completely or partially.

click 'per application' in WB configure then add, browse to the exes of the apps and you get exclusion options

Thanks, i guess i'll need the full version.... Another big question, when you buy the full version, can you make the themes not transparent? Because i like that Cyclops one but the transparent windows near the top i dont like it.
