Windowblinds hangs after post-install reboot

I have recently purchased Object Desktop and everything is working great except Windowblinds. I had trouble with my computer hanging after the post-installation restart. I uninstalled WindowBlinds, reinstalled it under safe mode with all non-essential services and apps disabled and after rebooting I still have the same issue. BTW all start-up items other than WindowBlinds have been disabled also. I cannot open the task-manager, windowblinds config page etc. etc. I assume that this is because Windowblinds is eating the CPU??

The computer is a Celeron 3.06 with 1GB of ram. Windows version is XP Pro SP2. I am currently working on a very comprehensive Windowblinds skin and would really like to get this new version up and running ASAP.

If I have missed out anything of importance please let me know. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

it would help if you could get the configure window open and post the system info from it.

Did you install as a stand a lone download or with Stardock Central downloader/installer/maintainer/ Browser?

Possible the install/uninstall/install just borked more and more.

If all else fails, download and run The Zapper - move all your skins you want to save first (don't need to save the ones that comes with it, you'll get them again)- reboot - try again

If you didn't use Stardock Central I suggest you do.
