Question before buying

From what I understand, the serial # is the key to getting the upgrades. it wont let more than one computer upgrade. So what happens if my computer has a serious problem and has to have it's hard drive reformatted?

It will let more than one computer upgrade, provided you are the primary user.

It doesn't, but those are the license terms. You can install and update the game on more than one computer, provided they're yours or you're the primary user.

The whole serial number thing is a non-issue really. Stardock is the absolute coolest developer in taking care of their customer and not assuming the world is out to screw them.

They make a great game too!
