Access class

I would like to set a goal for me but not sure how to reach it.
What does it take to move up in access class. Is it how many downloads you get. or how many comments you make. or is there a certain number of things you need upload on WC and or how many years you have been a member to WC.
Please let me know so I have a goal to reach.

For what it's worth, I have only uploaded two DX Objects and don't think they were good enough to qualify for nomination. I try to help out here on the forums and someone thought that was enough. Cool!

I read it the same way you did Bichur . . and choose to interpret it as " . .you help almost everyone . . ". Thank you very much.

Congrats Meowy and Zubaz

At first glance, yes.. it's how it's written... but I knew what WeatherBound meant.

No, I didn't do something. I didn't check. I was going by #3 & #7.

Ah, thank you. I find amusing other much more gratifying than amusing myself.

To answer the original question of how one attains a higher rank, there's no exact list of requirements we check off.  It's more or less a subjective process where one of the moderators or admins suggests someone for a promotion, based on their helpfulness, contribution to the community, time in community etc.  and several other mods/admins toss in their two cents on the suggested people.

So there's no submission quota you have to hit, or number of nice forum posts you have to make.  Promotions are rewards for people who overall make the community a better place with their presence.  The process isn't perfect so sometimes we miss people, but in the long run we seem to be doing pretty good.

I guess it didn't go through when I bumped you up to Master Apprentice, a few weeks ago. (imagine that, a glitch on this site )
Should be a done deal now.
