Need help!

Hey Im trying to download a them--I use Firfox so when I download I say save to disk--then I say open when its doen.But then its say's (to open this file windows needs to know what made this file) or somthing--Can u help?

You need to have the necessary programs installed to use the themes from here.

Go back to the page you downloaded from, and check at the top of the page ...there should be a link that will take you to the necessary program needed.

For example:

A windowblinds skin needs the windowblinds program installed on your computer for it to work.

A cursor theme file would need the program CursorXP installed.

If you're trying to download an actual theme file, then you'll need many/all of the stardock applications installed before you can use it.

Could you post a link to the "theme" you want to run.

You will notice when you have the item you want to download showing on your display that there is a "Gallery Description" section above it which tells you what type of file it is and which program is needed to be installed in order to run that file. So, if the "theme" you want to use is a WindowBlind then you need the WindowBlinds program installed first.

What's the Gallery description say? "DesktopX Themes Gallery"
You need the DesktopX program.
