Long URL in Link crashes ObjectDock

I'm trying to set up a dock with my commonly visited websites. However, when I cut and paste the URL into the link box ObjectDock shuts down. How can I fix this problem? If the URL's are shorter, I don't seem to have the same issue.

Unfortunately, the sites I go to regularly are the ones with long URLs such as this: http://www.erh.noaa.gov/forecast/MapClick.php?FcstType=text&site=car&CiTemplate=1&MapType=0&MapType=3&site=car&CiTemplate=1&map.x=214&map.y=57

So using a shorter URL isn't the answer.
