Problem with restoring minimized windows

OD drives me crazy! everytime i'm restoring a minimized window from the dock over another window that is already on the desktop OD behaves very strange and "flips" the windows so that i never get the new window over the old one.

i tried it with the free version and the plus, same problem.

does anyone know a fix to this? i love my exchange for the boring taskbar, but this problem really annoys me and i'm ready to dump OD if there's no fix...

apreciate your help

well, i tested a little bit more. the problem is in the positioning settings. if i set z-ordering to "normal z-ordering" the problem goes away, but i can't use the mode as the dock is putting itself over my windows which i don't like (especially i like to see the browser's status bar)... it seems like the dock works like a window in this case. clicking on the browser window for example makes the dock disappear. but whenever i move the cursor over the dock, it covers the bottom part of the browser window... not good!

when i use "always-on-bottom", which is my preferred setting, the problem described earlier always occurs. i can use mouse activation w/o problems, the dock always stays in the background, but the window flipping occurs, too... not better!

so... where's the trick?

I use the free version.
Dock set to auto hide (centered on top)
Z set tp always on top - restoring min window brings it on top.

If I move the dock to the bottom - set taskbar to always be on top & use OD t hide it, it then reserves me space for OD (auto hide off) & the restored window comes to the top when clicked via OD.

Same if I move taskbar to top always on top), OD to hide it (OD auto hide off)
