The IP submissions are outstanding. No other word for it. Guess I will be busy for the next hour or two.

Personally I think there are some absolutely brilliant iconpackages in there. Some of the best packages *ever*

How in the world is one supposed to choose only three...? There are real treasures, they're like candy, some of the sets, many individual icons alone are worth just looking at for their own sake.
What an event. Stunning work and prizes like I've never seen. Wow is right.

we have to admit that we are in presence of the new "skinners" generation!

good lucke to everyone and it would be hard to decide which one is the best

hope some of the sets will be updated by their respective authors in the future, dont get me wrong, many sets show great creativity n are truly masterpiece....

may be i m just fussy, i feel some sets like Rounder, slicer, mayan, dark shine(just to name a few) arent "complete", some critical icons r missing, let alone additional filetype n controlpanel icons....

that being said, personally i voted Core, Lena, n Champ for Most Usable IP , mainly becos they possess basic n extra icons, their creativity might not be as stunning as set like Rounder, but their completeness is definitely greater...

i will have a hard time voting in the Most Original IP event, Rounder, Mayan, Slicer, FROIS, SusieSunny, Local Flavor.......wow, i cant make up my mind...

p.s., the only flaw of this IP competition is many sets still have room for improvement...but then i understand many skinners have their own life, they need to take care of their work, family or study.....blame me, i m a real fussy loser

I'm hoping all these folks who entered stick around after the competition is done.

I know I'll welcome any/all future contributions by these wonderful icon artists.

Icon packages are definitely the highpoint of this years championships. There are some great skins and wallpapers but boy do these icon packs really show some nice, varied and original ideas.

Boy oh boy! it was a tough job! I felt myself been unfair, I had at least 6 excellent themes for "most usable" and I needed to chose just 3. No doubts that the next vottings will be even harder, since I guess that we have over 15 top of the top themes. Thank you Stardock for bring the oportunity for new authors to expose their excellent work GO! GO!

I was actually going to start my own thread about how amazing the IP entries have been for the GUI's. It's incredible. And what's best about it, is that I don't recognize many of the authors... hopefully they continue to create here on WC.

Truly amazing...I too hope they stick around and update these sets...some of my favorites were missing some much used formats.(I suspect some of this was due to time constraints)

I definetly LOVE the Mayas set.

This artist not only is a true graphist but a real civilization specialist.

I can't wait for the full WB package either.
