Transparency issues with MB5/Arrow skin

Hello all, first post.
i DID search, didnt find anything really so im going straight to the source (plus, im not compy savvy)
so, heres the deal, i had the trial version on my parent's home computer and was using Arrow, and i photoshopped the background so that i could put a message on the right side of the toolbar and you could see it when i had programs runnng. When i bought windowblinds for this computer and installed Arrow, its not as transparent. heres a picture of what it should look like.
as you can see, the text "the greg" should be showing through (it did with the trial version!)
and so now its not. any suggestions???????
