Custom Race - ethical alignment/logistics question

Quick question for someone more experienced then I... When I make a custom race, sometimes the box contains bonuses that I did not in fact pick. For some, by clicking on a different level of the same bonus then deselecting it makes the bonus dissapear. However, since there is no "logistics" category I cannot make this one dissapear from the bonuses box. Is this just a bug display or am I actually getting a bonus I didn't pick? Is this normal?

Also, my custom race is starting out evil. What determines the starting alignment of a custom race? I didn't see that anywhere on the customization screen.

Thanks!

The default custom race starts with 'free' bonuses to Soldering, Loyalty, and Logistics, IIRC. These bonuses will be overridden/lost if you choose another bonus of the same type (to prevent exploitation via extreme ability stacking).

Alignment can be changed in the raceconfig files (the main xml or the individual ones under My Documents). Just a guess but you may have gotten a different one by loading a raceconfig from an edited core race as the custom race.
