It Won't Apply my Theme!

I recently installed a trial version of WindowBlinds 5 along with a skin (GT3 OS).

The first few times the skin loaded up no problem but now it doesn't (instead it reverts back to the basic desktop) and won't allow me to apply any changes.

I've tried reinstalling the program but with no luck.

Please help a guy in need!

Recent is a relative term.

When it does that, it's basically is telling you the trial is up.

And as you discovered, reinstalling it doesn't work.

But just in case, open WB configuration, click system information on the left and copy/paste all the info that shows up here.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha. WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor. Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware. Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature. Onboard graphics tend not to.

You have one monitor in total.

I first installed it only about a week ago.

I see it says my graphics card doesn't support acceleration of per pixel alpha but I can't understand why it only worked temporarily.

I'm curious:

Since 5.01.006 is the latest release version and most of your file dates are anywhere from a day to 6 months off, where did you download it from?   

I'm running the latest beta and you got at least one file dated even newer than what I show.

I haven't used the trial so I may be wrong but, I don't believe the trial allows you to add skins. You can just use the ones included with it. Do any of them apply?

Then do all the standard things like
make sure your using the latest drivers for your video card (ATI Rage Mobility with latest drivers just might barely do it depending on which card X?00)
make sure your running it from the account you installed from
you've never run the trial version before (60 day trial, one time only)
your not trying to run the bittorrent version because its full of viruses & malware

You can add skins, but per pixel only works with the per pixel skin supplied with the trial.
