Empty Desktop

Hi. I have no idea where this should be posted, but i'll give it a try.

So, i want an empty desktop. Really, empty. Nothing besides a link (object or widget) to the Desktop-folder.
I've had an skin which had the desktop empty, but otherwise it sucked.

So, what should i do, so i'll get the desktop nearly empty?

Where would you want the desktop link to go?
You could try right clicking on the desktop and in the "Arrange Icons" menu choose "hide desktop icons" then add a new toolbar to your taskbar which is the Desktop folder.
