Welcome screen: user icon gets stuck.

Hi again )

I thought i'd do this into it's own topic so people can do a search if they find themselves in the same situation as i am in.

When i get the welcome screen ( i have to logout of windows as it doesn't appear when i just start it)
the user icon gets stuck and i have to do a nullclick somewhere around the screen before the user icon "fader" activates like it should be. Like when you move your mouse curser over it the icon fades in and when you move the cursor away it fades out a little.
Any idea how to fix that?

Are you using LogonStudio to modify your login? What skin? Have you tried others?

Yes i am using LS to modify my login )

Thing is, i made a welcome screen that i really liked and it worked 100%
Then i exported it, saved the file and reinstalled WinXP and imported it.
THen it didn't really work anymore ;((

Maybe i just need to redo it from "scratch".
I mean is till have all the images and the idea of how i want it and how to make it.

Maybe that's easier than finding a needle in a hay stack. )

I'm going to try that first.

and reinstalled WinXP


did you also reinstall logon studio - which is needed to apply the logon

yep i did that actually

and get a load of this!
The auto fade thing started working again when i uninstalled .NET 2.0 / installed .NET 1.1 / reinstalled .NET 2.0 again!!
