Request for a "dunkin' donuts" skin for windowblinds 5

I wish I could skin, cause I have some cool ideas for this.

- Minimize/Maximize/Exit buttons could be 3 different kinds of donut.
- Loading icon in explorer could be a donut that slowing spins while being eaten.
- Sprinkles on the taskbar and window frames. Along with glaze.
- Start menu could be a coffee cup with a half donut dunked in and a straw.

The sounds of this skin make me hungry .

I've seen a lot of Windowblind requests, and I don't think anyone's ever taken the job. Even if it was for money. But $30? That's kind of insulting.

well, since my request was hailed with insults, i guess i could arrange something higher. Or maybe a software favor. If you want a skin commissioned, try Stardock Media, Skinplant, Treetog Artwork, etc.

eh, lol. If you run a DD franchise outlet you might want to check your contract about how you can and can't use their trademark, especially to a global internet audience commissioning new forms of advertising. I know a couple of people who own such, Dairy Queen being one, and commissioning branded software for use in the business or redistribution ain't happening.

Regardless, $30 for this kind of job isn't a request, it's an insult. There are skinners here who do corporate branded skins and themes for a living. If you want this kind of thing for your store contact DD and suggest they do such a thing, it's their trademark, after all, and they have the money to do it right.

It isn't a matter of noobness, it is a matter of the law, quite frankly. Commissioning work using someone else's trademark ain't kosher, and skinners have to be aware of such things or their skins don't get posted on reputable sites. Granted, if you have the authority to authorize the use of the brand, great, I'd just consider offering at least as much as you'd offer for any other kind of advertising.
