Cannot install WindowBlinds 5.01

Hello All,

I have been searching and reading of people having the same issue as me. I download and install Windowblinds 5, reboot as requested, then when I get back to my desktop...nothing, nadda. It says I need to reboot, or press the use more resources button, which I do and nothing. I have unloaded, reloaded, re-installed, pressed use more resources a dozen times and nothing. i have used WB5 on this system before.... a long time ago. I made sure their was no trace of WB5 before I installed it again...I am really scratchin my head at this point. I have even went as far as to unload and uninstall McAfee, windows defender, and ad-aware and tried everything. No luck eithier. Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

my system specs are as follows:

IBM Thinkpad 14.1" widescreen
2GB Ram
Windows XP Pro sp2, all up to date.
256mb ATI x1600 SE

I welcome any and all responses.

i have used WB5 on this system before....


If your trial ran out, that's it. Reinstalling won't let you have more time.

You've had enough time to decide if you want to buy it.

Well, it does not even install to tell me the trial has ran out...I own a copy of wb4, and it will not even install. plus this is a fresh install of xp pro... so it would be a new install with a 60 day trial... correct?

they can at least help you get the version you bought installed & depending on which version of 4 and when you purchased it, you may get an upgrade

Bichur, thats what I did, still had problems installing, then I created a new user account, re-installed and it worked... my account must have had something corrupt. Thanks for your help!
