Quick catch up for everyone who might care...

I've been underway a bit.... out roughing it on the creek.. or the Atlantic Ocean as some might call it.

I have another underway coming up, for 5 days, back in for 2.. then gone for a long time. 6 weeks to 6 months depending on if we get Surged or not. We do get to visit Scotland and Ireland though. No England anymore since we got changed to Ireland. Two fun places to visit though I bet =) I can't wait to see em as much as I hate leaving my Loved one's behind. (it's a nice behind too!! ;)

So obviously real soon I'm going to be gone for a good while. Though I know how this saddens a few people.. though mostly my Girlfriend... I'm scared to know how that she'll miss me as much as I miss her, yet at least I get to go to other countries.

A lot of time on the seas, and I'm now working the pulping room.. Yes I am the ships garbage man. Odd how things work. At first, I was a slave to the Chiefs, and I end up pissing them off and now am working in the trash room.... odd how that works eh? Well actually it's not exactly like that... is a long story really which I don't feel the want to go into right now.

I actually don't mind the job, other than the smell and the pulper spitting back at me.... *I said eat that damn bag full of paper plates damn you!!! (as the pulper spits it right back out)*

I've been complimented at least on the fact that I'm working hard... what's sad is that I finally get these compliments when I'm working in the trashroom... THe nice annoyances of life eh? LoL

Good grief! When did the Navy switch to paper plates? Seems like a major waste of ship's storage space to me.

If you take liberty in Scotland just be aware that drug abuse, especially heroin, is rampant there at the moment and there are a lot of junkies looking for cash. As is always a good liberty tactic, go with a couple of shipmates. Don't wander around alone.

One liberty in Naples one of my shipmates ignored this advice and the Naples police found him stabbed, beaten, and naked in an alley. He lived but had to be discharged on disability.

Oh no.. it's not a normal thing. But as is a common running trend on my ship, the Scullery dish washer is broke... So I'm stuck pulping paper plates until it gets fixed (hopefully tommorow... as long as we can fix their problem with wanting to turn over the parts to us)

The Buddy policy is required. Yes you do only have to leave and arrive back at the ship together... but I already have basically a group of friends I'm going to go out and enjoy the scenery with.

Probably won't be able to write at all until after I get back. Though just depends on how the internet and my free time on the ship work. Most of the time don't get much free time to sit at a computer. And I don't know about the best pulper... I just work hard and that's all I can really say about it.
