WB5 perpixel feature and title bar buttons trouble

Hi there,

Here's a trouble i already talk about with WB5 skins using perpixel window frames (for titlebar indeed): so when per pixel is used, once can't add any other button in title bar and that's a very annoying problem
But in plus to it, you can't add anymore sounds for the buttons (minimize, maximize or close) because 1°) it doesn't work and 2°) if you do, you may have troubles for scrolling texts like Winamp or Sysmetrix are able to ...

Anyone from Stardock WindowBlinds development team to have a look at these problems ?

Buttons and sounds are not supported with per-pixel skins.

Yep, i've seen, but will there be in the future ? i mean will it be something possible by modifying WB5 ? If not, it's a bad thing: something plus one side (the perpixel frame for title bar - which is not a top feature for me ...) and a less for many feature WB had ...

A list of "what's next" would be cool. But look at how MS burned themselves with Vista features aht have been pulled. It can be public relations nightmares.

A first question is : do the skinners know about these impossibilities at least ? (i just say that because not much skinners put more buttons than the 3 inevitable and/or sounds on them ...

I only just found out that you can't have more than 3 buttons in a WB5 skin. I was very disappointed because my new skin was designed with 6 buttons, and it looks wrong without the extra ones. What I would like to know is, can I put more than 3 buttons on the normal WB4 section of the skin, or is that limited to 3 as well if you are making a WB5 skin?

I also hate the fact that I can't remove that awful system icon on the left hand side of the titlebar! It looks awful on anything else but the standard XP skin.Please guys, give us a way to disable it.

Boxxi, i can answer you for the first part, adding buttons (because i did it for tweaking a skin LoL) you just have to don't do a per pixel Window frame section [WindowFrame.TopPerPixel] neither that [WindowFrame.TopPerPixelMaximized], and things are going like in the past

You can hide the system icon on the left of the titlebar in a per pixel skin.

[WindowFrame.SystemIconPerPixel]

Align = 2

Will we ever have the option to SKIN the system icon in WB5?
I'm still disappointed with the features that have been lost with per-pixel borders.... skinning the system icon, and having an On Top button are the 2 items I miss the most. *sigh*
