Desperate Santorum Continues His Lying To Save His Job

How about instead of just an inflamatory statement and links, you toss in some actual commentary of your own?

i didn't want to plagarize, just sharing...your point?

why don't you go attack dr miler or some of the administration loyalists for doing the same thing on a regular basis since 2004?

there is plenty of my own commentaries on my own site, and there will be more, i'm sure,,,but for now, i was just sharing an article.

you may be surprised to learn drmiler has turned against santorum for being a rino.   i guess one man's nutcase may not always be another nutcase's man--and vice-versa.

santorum, who has voted with the administration 98% of the time, is hardly the "rino" he is trying to paint himself as by selecting the 2% of the time he went against for his ads. if rick santorum is a RINO, i'm George Bush. people in my family and cirlce of friends, which include insiders, staffers, politicians from the GOP and so forth, have talked about Santorum as the one they are "grooming for the presidency" since before he was a senator. if the dr realizes santorum is a neoconservative nutcase, that's fine,,,but a RINO? hardly, in fact, he's the opposite.

but anyway, my point was that the 1st replier was saying something was wrong with me sharing an article the same way some others do on a reg. basis. it had nothing to do with the dr's stance on santorum. i find nothing wrong with anyone doing that rather than just repeating (plagarizing) someone else's words and making ideas look like theirs instead of the parroting it is.

sometimes, it's prefferred to just copy/paste the article, sometimes there's a link,,,does it really matter? and isn't it kind of up to the individual on what they want to put up on their own site, and the format in which the want to do it?

Typical political hypberbole.

Criminals and asshats raise money for a candidate. The opposition candidate goes on TV and says that the other guy's campaign team is made up of criminals and asshats.

Not all that exciting, really. Just a little bit of normal political spin. Kind of like characterizing Santorum as "desperate" and "lying" and trying to "save his job".

The underlying facts are true, and even perhaps mildly reprehensible. But as we can see here, not at all outside the bounds of what both factions consider to be legitimate and reasonable political debate.

who is my faction? if you are implying i'm a democrat, you'd be wrong. lying isn't justified from anyone. and i do see santorum as 1) desperate, 2) lying and 3) definitely trying to save his job.

there's another 32 senators doing what they can to keep their jobs as well, from both sides of the aisle. but santorum's tactics are gettin desperate. maybe it'll work for him, maybe it won't. i don't know...but i do stand by my headline here the same as i stood by defending his fellow GOP senator from pa a lil while back.

well over 1/2 of this nation disapprove of the president, and on some issues, like iraq, even more disapprove. rick santorum has voted with the pres 98% of the time and called his job excellent last week on MTP.

you hardly have to be a liberal democrat to see the incompetence in this administration's job over the past 6 years. i'm hoping someday the more moderate wing and libertarian wings of the GOP will regain their footing over the neoconservative and religious zealotry that has polluted the GOP increasingly over the last 2 decades. the GOP has gotten far off it's own track and policies in many ways because of people like santorum. i have nothing against republicans, in fact, i held office as one. and as some know, many of my family, friends and so forth are active and some are fairly big players in the GOP. in fact, i knew rick santorum way back from before his senate days. i didn't like him then or now, that's true. but that hardly paints me as anything but someone who sees him for the snake oil salesman he is and always has been. seeing thru him doesn't make me a liberal, it just means i can see.

i'd successfully caught your drift. any invocation of drmiler's name in connection with santorum's (no matter how tenuous) amused me beyond my ability to restrain myeself, i guess.

altho i generally feel cheated by those who pass off links as articles, i recognize it's occasionally necessary...even appropriate. (hope everyone who reads this is securely seated cuz i gotta point out drmiler seems to have recently authored several articles consisting almost entirely of of words he's taken time to string together, a trend deserving of commendation and one i hope he will continue.)

sure he can. it aint as proponents of whatever opposing factions exist here go outta their way to provide fair, balanced, impartial analyses.

from a practical standpoint, it's a good damn thing they don't. were they to do so as infrequently as every 10 posts, the entire internet would be totally exhausted within 6 months--if not sooner--and then where would we be?   

it appears his attack ads are not working,,,reports say casey is widening his lead over santorum.

on another note, santorum was the unfortunate victim of a stalker last week...i felt bad for him having to deal with that nutjob. and like clinton, was perfectly justified in losing his temper.
