background for Icon Titles

the background for the name of the icons on my desktop are not transparent anymore, right now the are gray,(taking the color of the skin I guess). If I change the skin they will take that color, making the desktop look bad, because the wall paper is customized. I uncheck the tab in the windows blinds that says to use the skin wallpaper. what can I do?. I alredy re-install WB thinking that this would solve the problem.... but it didnt.

thanks

click on my computer
click 'view system information' in the left panel
then the 'advanced' tab
then 'settings' in 'performance'
in the 'visual effects' tab, scroll down and check "use drop shadows for icon lablel" {down at the bottom of the list}
