Object docks stops temporarily

Hey there... when I'm loading a program Object Dock will stop responding. Once the program is loaded it will return to normal. Anyone know what to do about this?

I see this when I have a few things running and now and then when opening programs.
When something is opening or have things running your system resources are being used by them, when try to access ObjectDock there is most likely not enough resources, CPU, for it at that time.
Right now I have Firefox open and my anti virus scanner is running, when mouse over dock, set to zoom, CPU goes to 100%.
I have a 2.4 gig celeron cpu and 1 gig of ram. If your system is less than mine you will likely experience dock not responding more frequently.

I have a 4400 dualcore Athlon with 2GB of ram. It's too bad because the standard task bar has no problems like this. It's making me think Object dock is for average consumers, not professionals. Since you and I are having problems. Hey, maybe it's just for Mac users, in which case they wouldn't be using high-end 3D and compositing software. They'd be animating smilies.
