How to Create the PNG icons?

I'm very new to ObjectDock and I was wondering if there is a program to make .png icons of programs for ObjectDock and how to make some parts of the .png icon transparent, etc. Thanks a lot!!!!

what graphics program(s) do you have?

basically if your program can save as png that's all you need - draw it with tranparent background, and save as png

you can also draw in paint with solid background color to be transparent, and open the bmp in irfanview and convert to png and pick the color to be transparent.

I have uhm, photoshop, paint, and that's it.

don't have PS

but I think maybe that's not under save as, but maybe export as?
it should also have an optimizer to get the transparency right.

just draw the pic with a transparent background in PS
then it's either save as or export

A very easy thing to do is to use an existing image or icon. I use irfanview
