Yahoo Messenger (Beta) Crashing

Which programs(s) of ODNT you are using/running?

Winblinds, Windows FX 3.0 just to name a few. But this occured as soon as I loaded a skin. First my laptop and now my desktop

I've had it loaded for a month on my laptop while I was in Florida, I thought something was wrong with messenger until I got home and loaded it on my desktop.  It worked fine until just now.

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration window and click on Per Application then add Per application setting. Find the exe for Yahoo Messenger and exclude it from being skinned. That should fix your issue.

You may need to re-start Yahoo Messenger for this to take effect.

whenever I try to send someone a file on my Yahoo Messenger it crashes.

The above post by Wizop Hankers should fix this - if you dont want any further hassle with messenger - install a previous working version.

Did messenger auto-update without you knowing? Sending a file in yahoo has been almost impossible for months. I dont even bother using the file exchange in yahoo. If you really want that option you can uninstall the beta and use an older version of yahoo like I do..remember - if the person your attempting to send the file to isnt using the same version - you are now ' not compatible " and that can ' boot ' the other persons messenger and or yourself.

I use 6.0.0.1922 it doesnt have the ability to upload jpegs directly into IM box - but I dont care about that - the sound always works and never crashes.And it is skinnable with WB's and I dont have to add it to the ' Per Application "
