how to replace sysicon on translucent windows?

I've been very frustrated with Window Blinds for several weeks. Things have changed with the 5.01L update. Much improved, more stable, thanks! I have not seen the dreaded "unabled to load bitmap" error. I still get an occasional hiccup but very seldom. I sometimes forget this is a beta version.

I'm trying to achieve an ultra clean look for my pico tea WIP skin, http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/39138517/. I can't figure out how to change the system icon on translucent windows. I want to use a simple glyph instead of the application icon. Are free-form buttons only for opaque windows? Another thing I tried was to displace the sys icon -100X and move the title bar text to the left. All is well until a dialog pops up. The text renders outside left of the window. Could I do this with script? Any tips appreciated. Maybe it's so simple I'm not seeing it.

Hello rrawlins,

I will pass this on to technical support, and they will look into it and get back with you as soon as they can.

Thanks,
Jenny

to my knowledge the system icon can't be removed. just set transparency to zero and place the glyph where you want it. i use this on most of the themes i use.

also i usually set the offset enough so it's off the screen in skinstudio.

I would love to figure out how to change it and make it a functioning button.

Good Luck!

thanks razr. unfortunately, that has the same effect as displacing the sysicon -100 on the X axis. it leaves a gap on the left side of the title bar text. i tried moving the title bar text to the left over the gap but this doesn't work for dialogs without a sysicon. the title text will appear outside of the dialog.

i could center the title but it doesn't look right. i might reduce the transparency enough so the sys icon isn't so bold against white. thanks for igniting an idea.
