Random thoughts...
How many soldiers are there in the world? Soldiers serving governments, not just little militias. And I wonder of this number what percentage of these soldiers are serving voluntarilary as opposed to compulsory. Then I muse...of the UN Peacekeepers available for the various conflicts around our globe, what percent are soldiers serving voluntarily, assisting in conflicts in an area where service to government is compulsive?
Back to real life, where there's no time or resources available to research such things as has no real impact on what I have to do in my life.
