Ants!!!

Geez, I thought I was losing it. I kept feeling like things were crawling on my skin, you know, that creepy crawly feeling you can get sometimes. I was sitting here working on updating my systems and kept getting that feeling. It was really starting to bug me. I haven't had that many beers

I kept brushing at my legs and trying to ignore it. Finally I noticed a sugar ant crawling on my leg. I got to looking and sure enough there were several of the little buggers crawling on the carpet. I can't imagine why they are here. the place is clean, there's nothing for them to be attracted to, and it really seems like a real waste of their time to even be here at all.

I delved into that deep, dark, violent part of my nature and slaughtered every one I could see. It's been a few minutes and I haven't seen any more, but if I know ants their brethren are lurking around here someplace.

I don't like spraying poisons in my home so I guess tomorrow I'll pick up some of those ant baits and scatter them around the place. I really hate tresspassers, but I suppose it's better than finding roaches or termites or something. I think the next time I am on my way home I'll schedule for an exterminator to come by while I'm home. Or schedule for them to tent the place while I'm not home.

Damn bugs.

Mason,  I didn't eaven read your article,  however saw the title and just had to tell ya,  at Wal-Mart get

"BUG-STOP"  it's found in the lawn and garden area,  hardly ever do they carry it in the grocery aisle.

It's the ONLY thing I"ve found that gets rid of them dang pests!!

Bait traps and that stuff that comes in a bottle that you pour onto cardboard doesn't keep em away,  Bug-Stop is what you need!

I look for their entrance, and then spray that with poison! Not fatal, but nasty! I hate the buggers!

I just don't like spraying poison where I live. Just doesn't strike me as overly healthy.

Smite them!

I hate bugs crawling around in my house....spiders most of all, because they always appear to be plotting....plotting to rule the world! Okay, I'm mildly arachnophobic....but I've held a tarantula before, so figure that one...cause I can't.

Anywho...good luck on your mass antacide....(that's not a word, but I don't care).

Weed killer does no harm to us, and neither does bug killer.  I dont lay it down in a carpet bombing pattern, but I do use it selectively.  Fact is, Sugar ants (them critters) love people places more than the outdoors.  You or them.

Yeah, I understand that, I just never liked the idea of them. I prefer something like baits or pastes. I use a paste around the water pipes and baseboards that seems to keep the roaches out. Too bad it doesn't work on ants too.

I'd hate to accidently inhale some insecticide (he says as he lights up a smoke).

I hate for anything that belongs outside to crawl into my house.

I nuke it with whatever bug killer I have handy. That is probably why I have this persistent twitch.
