75 Year Old Woman Chases Down Thief

I just caught this story on our local news station. It seems this 75 year old woman had come out of the grocery and was loading her grocery bags into her car when a man snatched her purse and took off running. She chased after him and found where he was hiding. After giving him a serious tongue lashing he handed over the purse. She then felt sorry for him and gave him a couple of bucks.

Gutsy lady. I'm just glad she didn't wind up as a murder story instead.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

That is too funny!

Just like my grandma. She used to carry a crow bar behind her seat in her car. Just in case.

What a cool lady. Now that's the kind of old lady that it would be fun to spend the day with!

Yeah, of course they showed the cops admonishing her for it, telling her she could have been hurt, but you could tell the cops really admired her for it.

hahahahah this is sooooooo me!! Really it is, and I plan on still running in my 70's.

I was attacked and fought back in 97. I also was robbed in Boston on the T by a big black guy who very cleverly lifted my wallet out of my pocketbook. I looked down and saw my pocketbook zipper opened and knew what happened. Just as this man was going down the stairs to exit the T with my wallet in his hands, trying to hide it under a scarf, I grabbed it from him and said in a very loud voice...."That's mine, thank you very much." He slid into the night and the door closed. My mother in law almost fell off her seat aghast at what I just did. She couldn't believe what just happened. I think she would have just let him have it not willing to risk anything.

No one is going to take my kid's baby pictures and get away with it.

Good for you. More people need to stand up for themselves instead of waiting for someone else to do it for them.
