step 1.

go to the internet

step 2.

go to google search

step 3.

write what you want ( Star Trek or Star Wars or whatever you want logo)

step 4.

save the file you liked the most to your desktop

step 5.

change the picture name to racelogo or raceimage with 25 or higher number and the end is .png (important)

step 6.

put the picture that now named raceimage68.png or racelogo46.png (the number is not important, but it must be over 25) so put it in ?:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Gfx\Race

step 7.

get in the game and choose that logo or image from the custom race or any race civilization screen (the one that you pick abilities, name of race, colors etc.)

and you finished...!

if you want a logo someone made please go to the GalCiv II library and search for Race Logos.

hope it helped,

Or you could take your picture and put it in my documents/my games/galciv2/logos or /portraits, depending on which it is.

Thanks guys, by the way does the picture have to be a certain size?

no, but 100x100 will be the best, otherwise, the picture will be scaled down what will make it look bad then what the picture is.

For that you need a graphics program that lets you create images with transparent backgrounds (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc).

You may also like to try one of the free open source program such as Paint.Net.
This program needs the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 to run but is a good program. I used to use this before i upgraded to Paint Shop Pro
