Stardock lost my email address

Will not allow updates

I have been shut out of updates by Stardock who tells me that my original email address/account is invalid. I wrote and was sent a packaged reply that my account number has been registered under another email account. I did not do this and the company has ignored requests to tell me what the "other" email address is or to reinstate my update rights without buying another download. Anyone else being shut out and being required to pay again?

Did you successfully regsiter GC2 to your own account in the past? If so, contact [email protected] with information about your original registration.

If you do not have the address at which it was originally registered, then we cannot tell that you are not trying to wrest control of a serial previously registered by someone else (ex., if you unknowingly bought a copy of the game returned after registration by someone else). And as a general policy we do not transfer serials between accounts (too much potential for abuse).

I was successfully registered, then I bought a copy for another person. After I did that, my first registration (my game) appeared to have been cancelled. Before I bought another legitimate copy everything was OK. I will email the details as suggested. Thanks.
