No Sound in GalCiv II

Has anyone else had sound problems?

I am not getting any sound at all in GalCiv II. I'm getting sound as per normal in all my other applications, but GalCiv is completely silent. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening? Many thanks in advance. T.

If you got the game via download, you have likely neglected to get the multimedia pack (click the [+] next to GC2 and download the extra parts as well).

If you did not get the game via download, go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2, open the file debug.err there with notepad and copy/paste all of its contents into a post here.
