Can a anyone help?

Do you have to have internet access to update your serial so you can use the patches etc? My home computer does not have internet access (I never got around to it after I moved, that and the fact I am an addict and would never spend time with the wife if I had it at home....).

Just bought the game last weekend, Love it, everytime I run the patch/CEGoodie file it brings up the activate serial and all that crap then I had to uninstall and reload the files to be able to play again.... /sigh

(Loaded the file onto my Ipod Notes folder while at work, asked for help on the fourums at work so I could update a game that I could spend days on end playing...)

Lol, I suppose I need some help.

Would I have to use an earlier Patch?

If you have a USB drive or CD burner, or even a floppy, you can activate a non-connected computer. First install the 1.2 patch, then follow these steps:

1) Start the game; you will get a prompt for your serial and email. Provide them and continue.
2) It will fail to activate and ask if you'd like to activate by email. Click Yes.
3) Copy the subject line and big block of letters into a text file, or into your email program, and save it off to portable media (CDR, USB drive, floppy, etc).
4) Take it to a web-connected PC and send an email to [email protected] with that subject line and content.
5) You should receive a reply with a file and some instructions; take the file back to the non-connected PC and you should be set to go.
