Making Icons sit higher on dock background..

Can anyone tell me the parameters to adjust to get Icons to sit "higher" (in the case of a bottom dock) relative to the bottom of the background PNG? ....please

TIA

don't know squat about parameters... but the sep file included here works nice.

Yep, if you are talking about a standard dock, and want icons to sit higher/more away from screen edge/taskbar (if at bottom and task not hidden ), can only be done by addding more transparency around icon.
If you had a 128x128 icon using the whole canvas, the screen edge of icon would be at edge of screen. None of the settings in the .ini file will move/change this position.
Only drawback of adjusting canvas size of icon by adding transparency is that for setting icon size at say 32, icons will not be 32. Would have to set size higher to have a 32 pix icon, so the dock will take up more screen space.

What Cavan said here is correct. You can adjust the dock background but that won't make the icons move higher on the dock. Not really much you can do to change it.

Thanks Guys! Quick response which is what someone in confusion wants. So....to recap, distance off the background "surface" is a function of the icon frame space, not any parameter in the background.ini. Once again Stardock leaves it to someone else to solve the problem. Let's see if I have this right. "Let them all go out and modify other people's art to make sense on our platform". I left this community months ago because I could not stand the lack of support in any form but "wink", "yep, we don't do that", "maybe somebody will figuire it out". Stardock owes this user community MILLIONS of dollars in support expenses. Great developers....BAD providers.
