Unable to finish install

When I try to finish the install with disk 2 (I have the collectors edition) I get the following message "An I/O error occured while installing this file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupted install file". I am just wondering if this is because of a bad disk or if there is a work around for it? (Where I got the game at is a bit of a distance for me is why I am hesitant to rush out and exchange it). Any help would be appreciated.

Bad install discs seem to be a common issue. If you have a good internet connection, you can simply register your game in Stardock Central (SD's download manager, available on the downloads page of this site), and download the entire game.

Cool beans! Thank you for the suggestion! I'm trying that right now (hopefully it all works out as I'm REALLY looking forward to playing this. I'm so glad Stardock has that option available.
