Can we thank Clinton for this?

My husband was talking to his colleague the other day about a girl the colleague and his wife  go to church with.

This teenage girl, who apparently is a pretty devout Christian, was telling the wife how she had oral sex with this guy who took her to dinner.  The wife reminded the girl that she promised to wait until she was married to have sex, to which the girl replied "Oh, I AM waiting until I get married.  Oral and anal sex don't count.  I'm still a virgin".

This isn't the first time I've heard of such an attitude.  There seem to be quite a few girls who believe that because there isn't any vaginal penetration, their virginity is still intact.  I can't help but wonder if the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky affair has affected the way America thinks.  He called into question the very definition of sex and fornication after he got busted, and these young Christian girls seem to be doing the same thing.  They're merrily going around having any kind of sex EXCEPT vaginal, thinking that it doesn't count.

As far as I'm concerned, anal and oral DO count.  How about you?

I have heard the same type comments down here as well.  Usually issued by high school studentswho think they have maintained their flower for the future.  And I guess, while they may not get pregnant with oral or anal sex, the reason it is called sex is because it is sex.

And thanks is not what I had in mind for Clinton for that.

Exactly.

I'd like to kick Big Billy's ass for that, too.

I don't think he is totally to blame but he certainly caused irreparable damage to the cause. I have heard of this problem in kids as young as 12. I watched a special on HBO a couple of years ago that said they had parties just for this sort of activity. The girls wore different colored bracelets to announce what they would do.

What I don't get is why parents and schools are not up in arms about this idea. The human mouth is one of the most bacteria prone around and that doesn't even touch on anal. I have to believe that since they can't get pregnant from this form of sex, they probably aren't protecting themselves. I am sure there have been areas of our country that have had mass issues with the diseases that can still be obtained via oral or anal sex.

Unless that's what they're into.

Please!! There were blowjobs, denials and rationalizations long before Monica and Bill! Don't be naive or partisan.
And not to throw stones, but just how devout *was* this Christian?

Well, thank God her hymen is intact. Sheesh.

I didn't know Clinton invented the blow job.

Huh, good man.
