WB and YIM

Windows Blinds and Yahoo Mess. Problem

Windows Blind doesnt work with YIM.


This has happened to me earlier when I had Windows Blinds, but when I put it back to WindowsXP style skin, it will workand sign in(1 month ago). Now I tried Windows Blinds once again and put Yahoo Messenger in the not to skin list and it still freezes. Now I put it back to WindowsXP style skin and it wont work! Now it freezes with any kind of skin! So now I cant sign in Yahoo Messnger without it freezing(Not Responding). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesnt work. I also have the latest Yahoo Messnger. Is thier any way to make it stop freezing?

open WB configure, click system info on the left and copy/paste here all the info that shows up.

You have to tell Windowblinds to "ignore" YIM. Open Windowblinds>Per Application>Add YIM there. Make sure you click "apply changes" and reboot to be safe.....

If the problem happens with WB unloaded then its probably not linked to WB.  The compatibility issue with YIM and WB would result in YIM closing not freezing.

Did you try uninstalling YIM and reinstalling it?

also yahoo has a feature where u can disable skinning on it i posted it here https://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=167&aid=123956 but if u have it disabled thru windowblinds u shouldn't have to do this.
