I found this site when I checked out the referrals from one of my skins, but apparently they put the skins in there site with their sub-divisions for objectdock, desktopx, cursorxp, windowblinds, and some other programs, but the curious thing is that the preview that we create for our skins, are modified with the page url, and you can actually download the skins from that site.

And right now I downloaded the cursor I did called ladybug from that site to see if it was actually the file, and it is! Besides, it was in a .rar file (I placed them in a zip file) and included in the file was a link to the page, with the title "Downloaded from Quickstyle.ru"

I believe we have a problem here...

yeah - i put stuff on DA and god knows where it ends up after that , but the fact that they cover over the true artists name is a bit over the edge. Plus the fact they stole the Stardock programs we pay for. Just because its the Internet shouldnt make thievery a lesser offense.

The link was just a section to the same site that j.aroche had posted in his post,that link wasnt to any crack version - just to a " stardock forum "

I wouldnt post a link to a crack version of anything from here - first of all anyone should always be very afraid of any crack versions of anything - most of them only lead to problems in the end - i'd prefer to pay then reformat anyday

Hmmm...

I see they not only have stolen a lot of skins from WC. They even suggest to buy DesktopX Enterprise, WindowBlinds and other Strdock products! May be we lost some details and Stardock already have the official business partner in Russia?  :SURPRISED:  (little joke)

I know a few places like this in Russia, Germany and China that offer us to download illegal software and skins. But only here I saw not only the links to download but suggestions to pay money for this!

This is Unprecedented Impudence! Is there any ways to begin the criminal prosecution of these villains?

Yeah.....that would be a good idea. But a lot of icon creators from here might want to check that site out....they stole a crap load of stuff from here.
