Speeding up automoves

Anyway to speed up the animation if the auto-move ship movement? I'm becoming bored with waiting for my 100 ships to slowly make their way across 19 sectors per turn, each at a slow pace. Is there a setting for this so I don't have to watch it?

in the options there is an option so you dont have to watch them,

The movement of offscreen ships is instant. So if you scroll to the side of the map and zoom way in, all ships will be offscreen, making turns go much faster.

Actually you mean para secs, moving 19 sectors would likley be moving halfway through a gigantic galaxy in one turn.

If you want to see all your ships move but faster, you could try tweaking the Prefs.ini file in ~\My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\

In it there is a section...
[Display]

...Having the following entries:
ShipTurnSpeed=7.853982
ShipMoveSpeed=800.000000

I hope this helps.
