There should be a way, but the files neccessary to 'fake' an SDC archive contain much private information (serial, email, etc) and are specifically tailored to your installation, so one can't just give you those files. It would be much easier if you had the old notebook running to simply archive GC2, then restore it from the archive on the new machine.

Short of that, the 'simple' option is to just redownload it. Just be sure to archive it from SDC afterwards so you always have a backup copy for such cases.

On the upshot, SDC may not recognize them as being there, but the multimedia, videos, etc, should work in-game if they're just copied into the appropriate place. So you should only need to redownload the core game itself.

How to archive in SDC? And what is created as an archive? A zip file? A self extracting or installing exe file? An spanned fileset?

The old notebook is no longer usable while the content of its hard drive is still fully functionable. But I have no PC which can boot from it using USB except one but that one have a complete different graphic adaptor (ATI instead of Nvidia).

So long as you can boot from that drive in safe mode or something, you should be able to do it. You just need to open SDC, select GC2, then go to File menu > Archive Application > Entire application. SDC will then generate a large zip file in Program Files\Stardock\Stardock Central\BACKUP. Just grab that file and copy it to the same location on the new computer, delete the sig.bin file in the GalCiv2 directory, then reactivate it and you're all set.
