No serial number

I live in Serbia. I found Galciv2 in a store and bought it. Got it home, unwrapped it and started playing, but I can't find a serial number. The disk is in Russian, but it had an option to install the English version. Besides, I read and speak Russian. Anyway, the disk is silver and the box comes with an official-looking holographic sticker with a code on it: K 667923 BI (although the I is actually a reversed N.)

It doesn't look pirated, but without a code I can't download updates to the software. Did I get taken for a ride or is there something I am missing?

I'm not sure that Stardock would know the exact specifics of the packaging in Europe, since that was handled by Paradox. If you contact them and they can confirm that you have a legitimate copy, Stardock support can probably provide you with a serial key.
