What Do I Want For Dinner?

I'm home. I haven't yet made the trip to the grocery store so the cupboard is bare. So what the hell do I want for dinner?

I could go to Wendy's and get something. It's only about a half a block from here.

I could order pizza. Here the choices open up some. Papa John's or Hungry Howie's? What kind? Pepperoni? Cheese? Hawaiian?

I could order Chinese, but they require a minimum $15 order for delivery and I don't think I'm THAT hungry.

I do have a bag of brown rice in the cupboard and I suppose I could eat that but somehow it just doesn't sound all that good and besides it's just too damned hot to cook right now.

I thought about riding to the grocery store but the chain on my bike rusted a bit and is hanging up ( I discovered this when I rode down to the C-store to get the required adult beverages for tonight). I need to cover it with chain lube tonight and let it soak over night. Hopefully it'll be freed up and rideable tomorrow. I don't feel like replacing the chain right now and that would require getting a ride to the bike shop and actually buying one. Hopefully the lube will work and I can ride tomorrow. Damn this hot, humid weather. Must be Bush's fault.

So I guess those are my choices and I just can't decide what I should get for dinner. I'll leave it to JU to choose my dinner tonight. Please don't let me starve.

If ya order a pizza,  can you get a salad with that ?  a salad would be good in this heat/humidity.  Or a chicken sandwich?  how about a chicken salad?

Umm, salad doesn't agree with my IBS. Lettuce is too rough. Chicken salad? Doesn't sound bad, but not sure where I'd order that from. Damn the indecision!

I'd go for Chinese and get a dish you really really like, something you can eat again tomorrow for lunch..heh.

Of course if you get a soup, rice, vegetable dish and meat dish that should be pretty close to $15...and tomorrow you can do it again!

Ok, I admit it. I love chinese, even if they are left overs.

Yeah, I love Chinese food too, but this place is really cheap and I just can't possibly eat THAT much Chinese food.

Ok, for the record, I went with the Papa John's Hawaiian.

I logged on to late for diner - but what about desert?
A Wendy's frosty would be good on a hot night.

I always thought the same thing until I tried one.
