Install problems

Okay, bought the game and disc 2 is defunct, doesn't work. I read I can download it here with the serial number. How? Where? Please help, I am really looking forward to playing. A friend has raved only good things about it, but so far my luck isn't good. Thanks

Get SDC from here: http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdcentral_setup.exe

After you've installed it, go to Tools>Register Product. Pick the Games section on the left, pick GC2 from the menu, and give it your serial and the email address for your forum account. Get out of that dialog and on the main SDC screen, go to the Games section and you should see GC2 under the Purchased Products heading. Select it and click install.
