Field days suck. Well.. it's not the fact that I have to clean all day that sucks.. it's the true, utterly insane detail they make us clean too. We clean EVERYTHING, THRICE!!! I joked about getting out my toothbrush to clean, and then someone responds seriously with "Well if you don't mind sacraficing, it'd be real helpful" .....
Ship shape was a phrase earned through long painstaking hours of cleaning by those on ships.. the insanity of how clean our ship is, is mindboggling. Though.. it doesn't 'look' near as clean as it really is, just trust me, IT"S DAMNED CLEAN! Trust me, I did the cleaning!!
Every nook, cranny, wire, pipe, crack, was cleaned and sanatized. We dusted, swept, mopped, and even repainted. It's clean.
The problem though, was that we had it cleaned the first time through in about 4 hours (we are given one section to work on, and that's our 'cleaning' spot).. so we cleaned it over again.. and once again. Was a fun day of cleaning I had earlier this week. I'll never complain when I have to clean up a room again. Compared to this cleaning, it'll be a cake walk
PS: I found my new drink.. at least for tonight! Rum and Lemonade!! Tastes strait up like Margarita mix!!
