/me is not a skinner . . . DX hacker maybe . . . never made a WB. Sorry.

Relax . . somone will get to you. If not, try to repost in a day or two without the drama. Drama hurts. {however, it can be fun in some cases which may draw unwanted attention, count your blessings. }

In explorer tree in skinstudio, XP Shell, Shellstyle (unofficial), right click Shellstyle XP Low level definition, remove section, do the same for Embedded Strings.

I think you need to finish skinning the Task Panel before your changes will take effect. Once you replace those header bars and up/down arrow buttons, I think you'll see your changes.

SkinStudio has a section for scrollbars. The quickest way there is to go to the main Window preview and click on the scrollbar. I'm not sure if scrollbars are skinned in the trial version of WindowBlinds though.

It looks like you should have submitted it to the WindowBlinds section rather than the Visual Styles section.

Is it possible to remove the dropshadow from the start menu ?

Yep, click on Start Menu in the list on the left (don't expand it). You'll see an attribute over in the right pane that says "Hide Panel Shadows". Just enable that and the shadow is gone.
