First you have to have Windowblinds or Object Desktop. DL the file to you're desktop, or where ever you DL stuff to. Click the file, and it will automatically install. Go to Windowblinds, chose the skin, click apply, and there you go.

In the "Description" box of every gallery is a link to needed software.

where do i get the windows blind or object desktop. is it like a program that organizes skins?

Up at the top, next to the forums tab, you'll see the software tab. The trial for WindowBlinds is the first one. I believe it lasts for 60 or 90 days, and after that, it's just $20. Good deal.

I think in the Gallery Description header there should be something like this..

I think when you click download you should get a pop up first asking if you have "insert software here" installed, if no... no download.

God no! No! No! No! Please don't force people to click a yes or no for every skin they download. Sure it might reduse a few questions posted here, but the overall user experience would suffer greatly and I think it'd be much more annoying than a some duplicate forum posts.

It could probably be set so that only those with Visitor status or ID# less than ## days old would see it. It may be something that would tax the servers tho......

Not if it's pure JavaScript. But I still don't like the idea of it.
