Well...I will say it works at lightning speed. But I kinda like being able to see the topics without having to choose a category, that is one thing I like about the forums so much. If you could get the present forum to move that fast that would be perfect.

How about Newsgroup integration?

Well finally a forum that works like a normal forum should. I never have liked the mash everything together way of doing things. I do think newsgroup integration should be done as well.

Looks nice. Looks more organized.
Mind you, if you are going to use the same WYSIWYG editor which is being used now it needs to be looked into. I was making a post today where I posted a DX code example and formatted the text to use Curier New, when the page reloaded after I had posted it the code part of the post was gone. Everything else was there. Had the same issue with another post where I formatted some text and it got eaten by the forum monster.

But back to topic: it looks really nice what you have shown so far. Looking forward to when it's all done.

Aplause!!!! I like the catagories and particularly the recent posts

I like it with the exception of 3 things.
The 3 things are:
1. No newsgroup intergration,
2. Showing who's online, we need to be allowed to hide online presence,
3. The Stardock's ugly blue logo clashes with the nice & clean new forum look.

Hmmm, guess that means time for a contest to design a new logo.

Thanks nogard for the feedback:

1) NG integration not going to happen any time soon I'm afraid.

2) Hmm. Will have to think about that.

3) New Stardock website is in development, the forum is in the new Stardock website design, the rest is the ugly blue thing.

I think the new look is wonderful!! This is my first comment. I love wincustomize and stardock. It is a pleasure to have somwhere to go online that is distracting in the middle of the night. I cannot wait for it to be released. I do agree that it would be nice to be invisible if the user desires that.

Oh there he goes...dissin my machine!

On Topic...Is there going to still be a General section in the forums...I noticed in the new version it isn't there.

You're welcome.
1. Oh well, had to try. Hoped that adding another voice might sway it.
2. Please do. Some of use would rather not be annouced when we're here, when we really don't have anything to say (plus other reasons).
3. It's going to look nice.
