Bootskin Freeze

Bootskin will not boot PC

I hope this is not a double post didnt find anything relating to my problem so I hope someone can help on this. I installed the free bootskin ver. 1.02 on my MSI AMD64 K8N Neo3 AMD motherboard using the AMD 64 3400+; 1 GIG Kinston RAM; Nvida 6600 512MB PCI-E video. Once I install and apply a boot screen I restart the PC and it will go through the boot process up until the point where windows welcome screen is suppose the show. At that point I will get a blank screen and nothing else. Only way out is to reboot to safe mode and disable bootscreen skiing and then I will boot up without any problems. Funny thing is I use to run bootskins on this computer before and it never had any problems at all for over a year. I recently just formatted and reinstalled a fresh copy of windows on my pc to clear out the clutter XP just loves to accumilate with the installing and removing of programs over time. I am running Windows XP w/SP2 and all applied updates but this is this only thing that is giving me headaches.

Try one of the previous versions of bootscreen. {uninstall, reboot, install}

I have tried both the versions 1.02 and 1.03 and it will boot with success one time then freeze the second time it boots. the new version 1.05a will give the blue page of death. Like I said the 1.02 or 1.03 never gave trouble till now.
