What heppened to THEM?

In the intro to Galciv2 you have the Dreadlords fight ing the "noble Arnor". So what happened to the Arnor? Did they win, lose, or just do what the Dreadlords did with the pocket universe thing?

Maybe it's in the expansion, I don't know. Is this a plot hole that will be filled or is it a new story waiting to be told?

if you read some of the back story stuff in the databanks it says. Basically, there was some cataclysm at the end of thier war where most of the Arnor and DLs vanished. The remaining ones in our universe didn't have the infrastucture to maintain thier technology, and thier civilization collapsed.

In the campaign though, it says that the Dreadlords created a pocket universe and they wen't inside of it. The Arnor may have done the same thing.

Or maybe they ascended to a higher plane of existance. Or maybe they caught the bubonic plague, too.

or maybe...Something really confusing happened like the Dread Lords were really humans from the distant future and just like the Thalan traveled back and fought the war with the Anor who ended up going into the distant future to stop the Dread Lords from coming back and ended up leading the technology to time travel to the Dread Lords, by doing so giving them the technology to begin the war they went there to stop and realized that the Dread Lords were infact Humans who were the descendents of the Anor in the original time line, and realizing that the only way to end the war was to create a pocket universe to put everyone into or the cycle would just continue on and on for all eternity, and unknowingly by doing so started the entire cycle over again because the pocket universe was really how the Anor's original universe was started.....

think about it.... I haven't....
